As we enter 2026, Boards are giving increased attention to succession planning. Without a doubt this reflects the pace of change and increased complexity. All businesses need to be thinking very carefully about the skills needed for the future direction of the business.

If companies are to have a successful future, the quality of near-term succession planning is key.
