Gillian-Karran Cumberlege

Gillian leads Fidelio Partners' Board Practice.

She is a Board Member of Chapter Zero, the Directors’ Climate Forum; a Board Member of the German British Forum; and President of the Trinity Hall Association, and a Member of the Stipends Committee, Trinity Hall Cambridge. Gillian is also an Honorary Fellow of the UK IR Society.

Gillian served as an Independent Board Member of Jaguar Land Rover India and a Member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Board (2015-2018).

Gillian headed Global Investor Relations for Volkswagen and UBS and started her career with the Bank of England.

Mark Cumberlege

Mark is a Founding Partner at Fidelio Partners. Mark brings to Search a deep understanding of the value of process and sets up Fidelio’s Searches to succeed with robust project management.  Mark works with clients across a range of sectors and executive roles.

Prior to Fidelio, Mark spent 5 years in senior management roles within Executive Search working with clients across multiple sectors & geographies. Mark also has managing director experience of companies in consulting, media and manufacturing sectors and has led start ups, turnarounds, acquisitions and disposals.  The common theme of Mark’s professional career is a passionate interest in how individuals shape high performing businesses.

Alistair Stranack

Alistair Stranack joined Fidelio’s ESG Leadership Practice in 2020.  He brings to Fidelio over 25 years of strategy consulting experience with leading organisations globally, including 10 years working in the Gulf region.

Prior to joining Fidelio, he was a Partner and Head of the Dubai office of Credo Business Consulting. Before joining Credo, he was a Partner at Parthenon Group and led the London office and the Global Healthcare Practice.

Alistair began his consulting career at Bain & Company in London.

Peter Welch

Peter Welch joined Fidelio Partners as a Senior Consultant in September 2021.

Peter brings a clear understanding of the role of the Board and leadership team in driving valuation.  He has broad experience and an impressive track record of supporting the successful development of small cap companies, and brings rich experience to the Fidelio team.

Irina Hunter

Irina joined Fidelio in June 2023. She brings to Fidelio over 20 years of experience in Asset Management, Investment banking and private equity. Prior to joining Fidelio, she was a Portfolio Manager at LGM Investments.

Irina brings a thorough understanding of sound stewardship and governance from the shareholder perspective, as well as a senior and diverse network across leading businesses, as well as the international asset management community.

Joanna McDwyer

Joanna joined Fidelio Partners as an Advisory Partner in February 2024.
 

Joanna is a Henley Business School qualified executive coach and leadership specialist. She offers deep insight into individual development methods for senior leaders. Her work with teams focuses on building judgement capability and improving team dynamics, including collaboration, communication and performance.

Joanna has over two decades of experience in corporate communications and government relations, is a former Partner with Brunswick Group, Director of Corporate Affairs for Barclay’s Global Retail and Corporate Bank and led government relations for HSBC’s Global Businesses, including Global Banking & Markets, HSBC’s global investment bank
