Fidelio is pleased to have been accredited by the FTSE Women Leaders Review for the ninth year in succession, in recognition of our contribution to gender balance in the Boardroom ‘Beyond the FTSE 350’. This reflects Fidelio’s international footprint and deep commitment to building high performing, gender-balanced Boards.
Reflecting the priorities of the FTSE Women Leaders Review, Fidelio’s approach and track record rest upon the following building blocks:
Fidelio’s highly innovative work in building The Judgement Muscle at both Board and Executive Committee-level, fully recognising that cognitive diversity and gender balance are key components for effective judgement.
Aligning Search with strategy, supported by a clearly articulated Candidate Brief, serves to attract the best Candidate for the role with a track record of over 42% female placements in the past three years.
Recognising the importance of male allies, including within the leadership of Fidelio’s Search practice which has consistently supported leading companies to access exceptional female talent at Board and Executive level over the past decade.
Fidelio’s Search contribution to gender balance is complemented by our Board Review and Advisory Practice. Fidelio Board Reviews and Benchmarking consistently highlight diversity and make practical recommendations to increase Board performance, cognitive diversity and gender balance.
The FTSE Women Leaders Review reports that 43% of FTSE 350 Board roles are now held by women, around 35% representation in leadership positions, highlighting strong Board-level progress but a clear need for continued focus in particular regarding the CEO and other executive roles.
“Congratulations to the FTSE Women Leaders Review for this important work to increase gender balance in the Boardroom, and at executive level.
Fidelio is delighted to play our innovative and distinctive role in supporting the Review. Gender balance, cognitive diversity and great judgement are essential for effective Boards and contributors to business success.”
