The theme for June was Remuneration - a key lever for the Board and a touchstone for investors and stakeholders.  Pressures have combined to shine a clear spotlight on what Executives are being paid and how Boards have deliberated, including:  

• Faltering share price performance

• The impacts of inflation and the cost-of-living crisis

• Increased ESG expectations, in particular relating to climate change

• Weakness of the London stock market
