Fidelio is very pleased to announce the appointment of Lynda Baker Funke as Partner within Fidelio’s fast-growing Board Evaluation, Advisory and Search practice.
Lynda has extensive international leadership experience in both executive and non-executive roles and brings substantial governance and regulatory expertise to the Boardroom. Her career spans multiple sectors including Financial Services, private equity and asset management, professional services, education and not-for profit.
Most recently, Lynda served as Managing Director, Senior Administrative Officer and Compliance Officer for Cerberus European Capital Advisors LLP, the affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management, a global leader in alternative investing.
At Cerberus European Capital Advisors for eleven years, she had responsibilities for human resources, finance, tax, governance, regulatory compliance, shared services and administrative operations. She supported the growth of the industry-leading platform to include multiple business lines across multiple jurisdictions.
In her earlier career, Lynda was a consultant at McKinsey & Company and a management executive at Goldman Sachs, in roles across the US, Germany, EMEA, and the UK.
As Boards, internationally, wrestle with ever greater scrutiny and disruption, Fidelio’s Board and Search practice is growing rapidly. Lynda’s appointment will further strengthen Fidelio’s offerings and clients will be able to benefit in particular from Lynda’s:
- Extensive experience of the People Agenda at Board and Executive level in the context of global high performing organisations
- Senior Financial Services experience encompassing governance and regulatory engagement across multiple jurisdictions, as well as significant practical experience of group and subsidiary governance
- First-hand leadership experience across a range of geographies including the UK, Germany and US with great cultural insight and a firm commitment to diversity
Lynda is a highly successful Alumna of and Ambassador for Fidelio’s “A Seat at the Table” Programme and is also Deputy Chair of The Elton John Aids Foundation.
