Fidelio Chair Roundtable ‘A D&I Primer for Boards in the Age of Covid'

Covid-19 has radically disrupted how we work. There are benefits but also evidence that diversity and inclusion are suffering. What is the role of the Chair and the Board in preserving and promoting diversity in the age of the pandemic?

Fidelio is a champion of diversity and inclusion. On 9th December we were joined by Julia Gillard, former Prime Minister of Australia and Chair of the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership at King's College London, for a Chair Roundtable - ‘A D&I Primer for Boards in the Age of Covid’.

This virtual Roundtable was an opportunity to join ca. 25 Chairs of leading companies internationally to explore what works in promoting diversity. For more information, please contact Amy at awright@fideliopartners.com.

Julia Gillard was 27th Prime Minister of Australia. She is currently the inaugural Chair of the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership at King's College London, which through research, practice and advocacy, is addressing women’s under-representation in leadership. Ms Gillard is also the co-author of “Women and Leadership” with Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, which analyses the influence of gender on women’s access to positions of leadership, the perceptions of them as leaders, the trajectory of their leadership and the circumstances in which it comes to an end. She also currently serves as the Chair of Beyond Blue, one of Australia’s leading mental health awareness bodies and is Chair of the global funding body for education in developing countries, the Global Partnership for Education.

Fidelio’s focus is building Boards and Executive teams fit for the future - through Search, Development and Evaluation. Fidelio’s ESG Leadership GRID is a powerful tool enabling Chairs and CEOs to build the leadership capability to drive value for shareholders and stakeholders.
