Board Composition

Situation: Engaged with a new vertical of an investment company to build their team with the placement of a senior investment partner/CEO.

Result: Placed a global Partner in the sector from one of the world’s largest investment banks. During the Search, Fidelio also placed an investment partner with a mix of PE, investment banking and industry experience on an interim basis, who subsequently became a full-time member of the team. We also connected the Managing Partner with well-known players in the sector through which the team sourced their first deal.

Situation: Hired by a large utility company at the shortlist stage of a Search in which they had failed to meet their targets for a diverse shortlist.

Result: Fidelio sourced outstanding female candidates in 2 weeks, one of whom became the preferred candidate for the role.

Situation: Fidelio supported a large global retailer having experienced a period of rapid growth assess the skills and profiles required to be ‘fit for the future’. Fidelio then conducted a Search for 2 new Board members, to bring cultural diversity and diversity of thought into the Boardroom, including a deep understanding of technology and consumer behaviour.

Evaluation

Fidelio was approached by a struggling national arts charity, to support them through a difficult turnaround with an evaluation tightly focused on governance and increasing Board effectiveness.
